Privacy notice

How Schwinge & Pearson uses the personal information you share through this website. Last updated 6 November 2026.

Who we are

This notice explains how Schwinge & Pearson, an AI consultancy based in London, uses personal information collected through schwingeandpearson.com. We decide how that information is used, which makes us the data controller. You can contact us about anything in this notice at [email protected].

What we collect

If you send an enquiry, we collect the details you give us: your name, work email, company, and optionally your phone number, team size and message. If you sign up to The Schpeal, our daily newsletter, we collect your email address and the date you confirmed. Like any website, our hosting provider also processes technical information such as your IP address so that pages can be delivered securely and abuse can be prevented.

How we use it

We use enquiry details only to reply to you and, if you want to go ahead, to arrange and prepare for a conversation; our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, or taking steps at your request before entering a contract. We use newsletter addresses only to send The Schpeal; our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by confirming your address and can withdraw at any time. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

Who handles it for us

We use a small number of service providers, who process information only on our instructions: Microsoft (email and business systems), Cloudflare (website hosting, security checks and storage of form submissions) and GitHub (which runs the daily newsletter send). Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when you visit. Some of these providers may process information outside the UK, under safeguards approved for international transfers.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for up to 12 months after your last contact with us, unless we go on to work together. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe, which you can do with one click from any edition; an unconfirmed sign-up is discarded within an hour.

Cookies

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our forms may use Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-preserving check that helps tell people from automated spam, and the site remembers in your browser whether you have closed the newsletter sign-up so it does not ask again.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it or stop using it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
